Remarkable Sonic Book catalog released in US

Italian imprint Stampa Alternativa, publishers of the remarkable Sonic Book series, released a good chunk of their catalog this week in the US. It’s available now from Midheaven Mailorder (and perhaps soon from mainstream sources such as Amazon). Each title includes carefully researched biographical data, interviews, lyrics, photos, and more—plus a CD with tracks typically not available anywhere else. The books include English and Italian text.
Titles now available domestically in the US include Syd Barrett: A Fish Out Of Water (see our story from earlier this week); Tim Buckley: Thin Wires In The Voice, Captain Beefheart: Pearls Before Swine, Ice Cream For Crow; The Clash: Story; Nick Drake: Sweet Suggestion of the Pink Moon; Joy Division: All The Lyrics; Ramones: Leathers From New York; The Sex Pistols: Aural Sex; Sonic Youth: Sonic Life; and The Stooges: 35 Years Of Noxious Sounds.
