Royal Trux halted by serious family illness

A “grave” illness in singer/songwriter/multi-instrumentalist Jennifer Herrema’s immediate family has forced her band Royal Trux to cancel at least seven shows on their current US tour. All gigs through the 4 July performance at Southgate House in Newport, Kentucky are definitely off, with remaining shows now in tentative status.
With a reassuring display of decency, Royal Trux’ label Drag City announced that they “...wholly support Jennifer’s decision to take time off the road so she can be with her family in this time of need.” As the situation permits, the band will reschedule all missed dates. | Royal Trux | | bio | | discography | | sample | | CD | | top of page |
