New Syd Barrett biography + rarities CD 26 June 2000
Sonic Books has just released for North America an in depth biography/history of legendary and supremely influential Pink Floyd founding member Syd Barrett (born Roger Keith Barrett). A Fish Out Of Water by Luca Ferrari and Annie Marie Roulin, originally published four years ago in Italy, includes collected bios, interviews, and lyrics in both English and Italian, along with a companion CD that includes pre-Pink Floyd tracks from Barrett’s band Architectural Abdabs. One notable interview is with Barrett’s sister Rosemary Breen, conducted in two sessions over 1994 - 95.
