Live Human post first MP3 from new album
22 June 2000

San Francisco avant-garde turntablists Live Human have posted the track Elephant Bliss from their forthcoming Matador album Elefish Jellyphant. The track, which blends a ’50s big band feel with a 21st century tripped out scratch attack, fuckin’ rocks. Elefish Jellyphant comes out next Monday in the UK and then 11 July in the US.
The experimental/hip-hop trio of Albert Mathias (drums), Andrew Kushin (bass), and Carlos Aguiler a.k.a. DJ Quest celebrate the new release with an in-store performance at Haight-Ashbury’s Amoeba Records in San Francisco on 14 July starting at 7 pm. | Live Human | | Elephant Bliss MP3 (3.3 MB) | | bio | | discography | | sample | | top of page |
