virtueTV launches broadband channel
15 June 2000

London based Webcaster virtueTV has launched a channel made for Internet users with DSL or cable connections, or those with T1/T3 connections at work who don’t feel guilty about soaking up their company’s network bandwidth. Right now you can view on demand three songs from Iggy Pop’s 7 December 1999 performance at London’s Shepherd’s Bush Empire at 300 K using either RealPlayer or Windows Media Player. If you have a slower connection, you can also view/listen to the tracks using streams ranging down to 28 K.
Other on-demand high bandwidth tracks available now include songs from Bentley Rhythm Ace and Idlewild. | virtueTV Broadband | | top of page |
