Engine Down push 2nd LP with major tour

Richmond, Virginia based energy quartet Engine Down released their second LP today in the US, To Bury Within The Sound. It follows their well received debut, last year’s In the Pretense Of The Present Tense.
    Without abandoning their understated but metal edged approach, the new album offers a broadened emotional scope with the addition of piano, cello, and vibraphone to the band’s musical palette.
    Engine Down started a multi-month US tour of small clubs, record stores, and pizza restaurants this past weekend in Houston at The Oven. Tonight they continue a five night stand in Texas with a show at Rubber Gloves in Denton before continuing to California and then making their way back east.
