Glastonbury reveals performance lineup early

Today the organizers of England’s mammoth Glastonbury festival reveal the names of more than 500 confirmed artists for the 23-25 June event. Previously announced headliners are David Bowie, The Chemical Brothers, and Travis. Some of the artists just announced are


Pyramid Stage
Asian Dub Foundation, The Bluetones, Embrace, Happy Mondays, Ladysmith Black Mambazo, Ocean Colour Scene, The The.

Other Stage
Basement Jaxx, Beta Band, Death In Vegas, Elastica, Foo Fighters, Leftfield, Moby, Nine Inch Nails, St. Etienne, Super Furry Animals.

Greenpeace Stage
Baghdaddies, Chumbawamba, Citizen Fish, DJ Lovegrocer, Hedonastik, Muffin Men, Tarantism, Zohar.

The Glade
amoebaassassin, Autechre, Earthtribe, Hallucinogen, Statik Sound System, They Do Play Records Don’ They (DIV’s Richard Fearless, Soulwax, Monk On Fire), Visitation, Zion Train.

New Bands Tent
Badly Drawn Boy, Broadcast, Doves, Flaming Lips, My Vitriol, Elliott Smith, Terris, Yo La Tengo.

Dance Tent
Banco de Gaia, Chicane, Dilated Peoples, DJ Krush, Eat Static, Fatboy Slim, Kelis, Manchild, Rhinocerose, Smith & Mighty, Luke Vibert and BJ Cole.
