Gina Birch recording first solo album 6 July 2000
Singer, multi-instrumentalist, and songwriter Gina Birch, formerly of The Raincoats, Red Crayola, Dorothy, and most recently The Hangovers, is recording her first solo album at various studios in and around London. The not yet titled LP will appear later this year on Kill Rock Stars records in the US. Birch will play the first annual Ladyfest celebration of women’s music, art, and politics early next month in Olympia, Washington, US.
