Calexico tour (mostly northern) Europe

Having recently toured southern Europe and just this weekend played the star crossed Roskilde Festival near Copenhagen, Arizona’s Calexico (Joey Burns and John Convertino from Giant Sand) begin a week of dates in Germany, Holland, and Austria this Friday at Nürnberg’s KOMM. They’re supporting their third album as Calexico, The Hot Rail, released this spring.
    After a five week break that includes at least a couple of stops in the US, they pick up again in Utrecht, Holland on 24 August for another month of mostly northern European gigs in Belgium, France, Denmark, Sweden, and the UK, plus a couple of stops in Switzerland and Greece.
