The Animalhouse release debut single

Oxford Britpop quintet The Animalhouse, featuring Mark Gardener and Loz Colbert of Ride, released their first generally available single on Monday on Boilerhouse in the UK. The single follows two very limited edition singles released earlier this year, Animal and Small. The music is brighter and higher energy than what you might expect from the former shoegazers.
    Ready To Receive was released in two CD versions as well as on vinyl 7". CD1 includes new songs Chase The Sun and One Night Only, while CD2 includes Radio 1 live versions of Animal and Small. The new 7" of Ready To Receive includes a live version of Space Trash.
    BMG has posted a Macromedia Flash player Animalhouse preview for free download. The application, available for Mac OS and Windows, includes brief clips of the tracks on CD1 plus biographical and other info.
