London Webcaster virtuetv.com hosted an interview Monday with West Country (UK) power pop quartet Reef, which you can watch from their archive using RealPlayer or Windows Media Player.
The band release their fourth album Getaway on 21 August (UK only), their follow up to 1997’s Glow. Al Clay (The Boo Radleys, Pixies, Stereophonics) produced the new set. The first single, Set The Record Straight, comes out today the UK in two versions: CD1 includes Gentle Morning and Haze while CD2 includes Life Seems So Clean and Nothing Town.
Reef have been touring Europe and have two shows left: 11 August at Haldern, Germany’s Open Air Festival and 12 August at Denmark’s Skanderborg Festival. They start a three week UK tour on 21 October with a show at Northumbria University in Newcastle.
    Besides today’s interview, you can watch a tape of the band’s 30 June Birmingham, England performance from virtuetv’s archive. | Reef | | Webcast | | Getaway CD from Amazon UK | | tour dates | | bio | | discography | | sample from Glow | | top of page |
