Metallica Web chat, live Webcast this month 3 July 2000 The San Francisco metal quartet have drawn fire from Internet users who believe copyright law should not extend to individuals trading music. In April Metallica began a very high profile, very controversial lawsuit against San Mateo, California software startup Napster, which provides a server based system for trading MP3 music files. The band will provide a live Webcast of their 14 July show from 3Com Park in San Francisco starting at midnight EDT (5 am Saturday BST). Mars Music will provide viewing details as they get them. | NME story | | Web chat on Mars Music | | Metallica | | Napster | | Macster | | discography | | sample | | top of page | |
