My Dad Is Dead to release new album next year
25 July 2000
image
Cleveland based singer/songwriter Mark Edwards, founder, front man, and sole constant member for My Dad Is Dead, will release his first album since 1997’s Everyone Wants The Honey But Not The Sting early next year on New Jersey indie label Vital Cog records. No title or track listing yet, but check back.
In the mean time, Edwards has posted his first five albums, all out of print, for free download in MP3 (MPEG I layer 3) music file format. Check his Web site for how to get the albums. We’ve provided a direct link to an MP3 version of the MDID song Nothing Special, recorded for the BBC’s Peel Sessions show in 1990 and featuring Doug Gillard (Guided By Voices) on guitar. | My Dad Is Dead | | Nothing Special (full length MP3 file) | | bio | | discography | | sample | | top of page |
