22 July 2000
image
San Francisco experimental high-energy cross dimensional trio Live Human recently appeared on the Web via The Beta Lounge. The show ran 4 - 7 pm PDT, Saturday 22 July (midnight - 3 am BST on Sunday), and is now available via the Beta Lounge archive.
Live Human released Elephish Jellyphant, their first album on US label Matador Records, in June in the UK and earlier this month in the US. The trio of Albert Mathias (drums), Andrew Kushin (bass), and Carlos Aguiler a.k.a. DJ Quest previously released discs on London’s Fat Cat Records, who still have some full length MP3 files posted.
Based in San Francisco, the Beta Lounge is the longest running electronic music Webcasting series. Each live show includes a live video/audio feed plus a chatroom. Shows are immediately archived and available on demand. | The Beta Lounge | | Live Human on Matador | | MP3 files on Fat Cat | | bio | | discography | | sample from Elefish Jellyphant | | CD | | top of page |
