Starlight Mints announce debut US tour

Following a couple of showcase shows in New York, Oklahoma pop cosmonauts Starlight Mints have announced their debut US tour. They kick it off 15 August at San Diego’s Casbah, and continue through early September with a closer at Brownies in New York city.
    Rockbites spoke with the band recently from New York. Front man Allan Vest told us “Most of the songs on this album were written probably three years ago, so it’s relatively old for us. We have two more albums worth of music already written, so we’re having to backtrack a little bit but looking forward at the same time.”
    Former Barkmarket vocalist/producer and current head of SeeThru Broadcasting David Sardy produced the band’s eleven track debut album The Dream That Stuff Was Made Of, set for a 22 August release in North America.
