Reborn Spiritualized assemble new album 4 January 2000 The new Spiritualized, re-formed by founder Jason Pierce after he fired the other members last year, will release in late 2000 or early 2001 the followup to 1997’s Ladies And Gentlemen We Are Floating In Space.     The lineup for the not yet titled LP includes drummer Kev Bales (Echoboy), guitarist Dogan and keyboardist Tim Lewis aka Thighpaulsandra (both from Julian Cope’s band), percussionist Tom Edwards (the Royal Academy of Music), and bassist Martin Shallards.     Thighpaulsandra told NME that the new tracks are “a lot more Kraut rock... if you can imagine a bit of country, a bit of Elvis, a bit of Kraut rock, and a few other things, all mixed together.” | NME story | | discography | | sample | | top of page |
