CD review: Primal Screams Exterminator 30 January 2000 Nigel Packer of the BBC likes what he hears on Extrmntr, the followup to Primal Screams 1997 breakthrough album Vanishing Point. He writes ...unlikely as it sounds for a group which started life over 15 years ago as a mutated version of the Beach Boys, Exterminator is one of the freshest and most courageous albums from a major league band in a long time. Tracks include Kill All Hippies, Accelerator, Exterminator, Swastika Eyes, Pills, Blood Money, Keep Your Dreams, Insect Royalty, MBV Arkestra, Im five years ahead of my time, Swastika Eyes (Chemical Brothers mix), and Shoot Speed Kill Light. Exterminator is out Monday 31 January in the UK but not yet available in the US. | BBC story | | discography | | sample from Vanishing Point | | top of page | |
