Crooked Fingers release debut album, start US tour 25 January 2000 Former Archers Of Loaf front man Eric Bachman spoke with Live Dailys Mark Lewis about his new band Crooked Fingers, their new album, and the upcoming tour. People always say, 'Bands have a certain chemistry'. They do, and thats what makes them great. But I just get sort of sick of this great chemistry if you have to do it everyday. It seems like more of a creative, interesting thing to do if you change chemistry a lot... I dont think that I have that much control, and I would even argue that anybody that suggests that they doin terms of the motion of what they write and control over what comes out lyricallyis probably full of shit, if the songs are going to be from a real place. Crooked Fingers new, self titled album is out this week in the US. Tour dates January 27 - Athens, GA (40 Watt) 28 - Gainesville, FL (Covered Dish) 29 - Tallahassee, FL (Florida State University) February 2 - Carob, NC (Go Studios) 3 - Washington, DC (Black Cat) 4 - Philadelphia, PA (Upstage) 5 - New York, NY (Brownies) 6 - Hoboken, NJ (Maxwells) 7 - Cambridge, MA (Middle East) 9 - Bloomington, IN (Second Story) 10 - St Louis, MO (Gargoyle) 11 - Madison, WI (University of Wisconsin) 12 - Chicago, IL (Empty Bottle) 13 - Milwaukee, WI (The Globe) 15 - Louisville, KY (TBA) 16 - Nashville, TN (The End) 17 - Atlanta, GA (Echo Lounge ) | Live Daily story | | discography | | CD | | top of page | |
