New Utah Saints LP to feature Michael Stipe, Chuck D
19 January 2000
Prepotent UK techno duo Utah Saints have reportedly snagged fans Michael Stipe (R.E.M. vocalist) and Chuck D (Public Enemy founder) to help out on their forthcoming LP, due May in England. Chuck D will contribute vocals, as will Stipe if rumors bear fruit.
The not yet titled album, the band’s first in six years, features samples from Iggy Pop and from Pretenders front woman Chrissie Hynde. | NME story | | bio | | discography | | sample from self-titled 1992 debut | | top of page |
