First Woodstock 1999 sex crime conviction handed down
19 January 2000
Former prison guard Timothy Weeden, 27, pleaded guilty to forcing a 15 year old girl to perform oral sex on him during last year’s Woodstock music festival. The guilty plea buys him dropped charges on several other sex crime counts.
It is Weeden’s first conviction, and the the first sex crime conviction of several under investigation from Woodstock 1999, a festival that turned shockingly ugly with alleged rapes, including gang rapes, and openly misogynistic behavior from security personnel. The judge will sentence Weeden on 25 February. His lawyer expects that his first time offender status will buy him years off of the maximum penalty of 25 in prison. | Live Daily story | | top of page |
