Review: Grant Hart’s Good News For Modern Man
17 January 2000
The NME’s Stevie Chick is positively taken with former Hüsker Dü drummer Grant Hart’s recent solo album Good News For Modern Man. Chick writes “Intermittently, Good News... excels even Hart’s Hüsker heights... Best of all is You Don’t Have To Tell Me Now, a sweeping, heart-breaking ballad, and perhaps the best song Hart has ever written.”
Good News... came out this past November in the US, and will be available domestically in the UK soon. NME rates it 8 out of 10. | NME story | | discography | | sample | | CD | | top of page |
