Was Mick Jaggar in line to be knighted last month? 17 January 2000 The London Times reported this weekend that Rolling Stones singer Mick Jaggar had been listed to receive knighthood by Queen Elizabeth on New Year’s Eve, but that the office of Prime Minister Tony Blair had snuffed the event due to Jaggar’s history of sexual indiscretion.
