Foo Fighters play impromptu AIDS benefit in Hollywood 17 January 2000 The night before jetting off to Australia to start a tour, Seattle alt rock quartet Foo Fighters staged an impromptu benefit concert at Hollywoods Palace club. The band are donating proceeds from the event to Alive & Well, a Los Angeles based AIDS education and support organization.
