8th annual San Francisco Noise Pop fest adds Chicago leg 13 January 2000 The eighth annual San Francisco Noise Pop festival takes place 1 - 5 March in various venues in the bay area, and this year branches out to a second festival 11 - 13 May in Chicago. Artists booked so far for this years SF leg include Bob Mould (ex Hüsker Dü), X (who disbanded seven years ago, but occasionally reunite), Crooked Finger (who include Eric Bachmann, front man with Archers Of Loaf), Minders, and Oranger.
