Whild, Jim Lea’s new band, release first single 7 February 2000 Jim Lea, founder and multi instrumentalist for English glam rock survivors Slade, has a new band. The debut single from Whild bears the title I’ll Be John, You Be Yoko. It’s due 14 February in the UK on Jet records, with extra tracks Megadrive and I Go Wild. Lea left Slade nearly ten years ago. Co founders Dave Hill and Don Powell continued on as Slade II. | Billboard story | | top of page | |
