The Donnas new video premiers on Sunday 4 February 2000 The video for the single Skintight, off SF bay area punk/pop quartet The Donnas current LP Get Skintight, debuts in the US and Canada this Sunday on MTV’s 120 Minutes show. In most markets, 120 minutes airs at midnight local time. Skintight will be the eighth video shown. The video was shot on location by a student crew from San José State University’s film department. According to Lookout Records, “The video concept involves The Donnas in pursuit of the only hot guy in their town. To win him they must vanquish a slut named Star. Trouble ensues. Our heroines prevail.” The Donnas tour the US for the month of March starting the 3rd at The Roxy in Los Angeles—preceded by a single Canadian show on 25 February at the Commodore Ballroom in Vancouver, British Columbia. | tour dates | | bio | | discography | | sample | | top of page | |
