8th annual Noise Pop festival kicks off tomorrow 28 February 2000 San Francisco’s 8th annual Noise Pop festival starts Tuesday evening with an all ages show at the Great American Music Hall featuring Electro Group, Fluke Starbucker, I Am Spoonbender, and Man Or Astro-Man? The festival continues through Sunday 5 March at various venues with performances by more than 40 bands including Beulah, Death Cab For Cutie, Fastbacks, The Groovie Ghoulies, Loud Family, The Magnetic Fields, Bob Mould, and X. Some shows are sold out, but a special US$99 (£62) pass will get you into every event, including sold out shows and all films at the companion film fest. | Noise Pop 2000 | | top of page | |
