Julie Doiron And The Wooden Stars’ world tour 23 February 2000 Moncton, New Brunswick native turned Montréaler singer/songwriter Julie Doiron, aka Broken Girl, recently released her new album in the US on Tree records. Ottawa’s Wooden Stars provide the backing band and half of the LP’s name: Julie Doiron And The Wooden Stars. Having toured Canada with Brothers Creeggan in January, Doiron has been touring the eastern US this month and continues through 11 March.
