Oasis announce dates for world tour 2 February 2000 A reconstituted Oasis, featuring a new guitarist and bassist following last year’s near dissolution, begin a major world tour 29 February at the Yokohama Arena in Japan. They are touring behind their forthcoming LP Standing On The Shoulders Of Giants, due at the end of the month. Oasis perform 10 more dates in Japan before a quick 3 day stand in Europe—one gig each in France, Germany, and Belgium. Next they head to North America for 20 shows starting 5 April at Seattle’s Paramount Theatre.
