Roskilde Festival announces ticket contest 16 February 2000 The Roskilde Festival 2000 has opened a contest for tickets. To enter, visit the festival’s Web site and write up your best story from a previous Roskilde festival. For information on travel to the festival by bus from France, call the Voyages 4A information line at 03 83 37 99 66, or check the Voyages 4A site. Tickets are available through the festival site, or from local resellers including three just announced: in Holland, use TicketService; in Finland, use Lippupalvelu; and in Czech Republic, call the Archa Theatre. This year’s festival takes place 29 June through 2 July in Roskilde, Denmark, with seven stages and 160 bands. As always, all profits from the musical/political event go to humanitarian and cultural charities and projects, with coordination by Foreningen Roskildefonden (The Roskilde Charity Society).
