Lambchop support Yo La Tengo on North American tour
15 February 2000
Nashville’s alt country existentialists Lambchop released their fifth studio album last week, oddly titled Nixon. A primary theme is family. Front man and main songwriter Kurt Wagner recently explained the theme if not the title to New Music Monthly: “A lot of Lambchop babies are popping out.”
The amorphous collective take the act on the road a week from today with a headlining show in Chapel Hill, North Carolina. They then start a North American tour supporting Yo La Tengo, with one more headline performance on the 27th in Hoboken. | tour dates | | discography | | sample from What Another Man Spills | | CD | | top of page |
