Tim Hurley’s Sin Ropas release debut LP
14 February 2000
Chicago alt/art/minimalist trio Sin Ropas released their debut LP Three Cherries last month in the US on Perishable records. Tim Hurley, former multi-instrumentalist with Red Red Meat, Califone, and Loftus fronts the band and writes the songs. Danni Iosello (Califone) plays drums and percussion, and Noel Kupersmith (ex Brokeback, Chicago Underground) plays bass. Fans of Red Red Meat, Calexico, and June Of 44 will enjoy the result, while receiving a much stronger dose of surrealism in the bargain. | CD | | top of page |
