Seascapes Of The Interior working on debut album
8 December 2000
image
Melbourne, Australia dream rock seven-piece Seascapes Of The Interior are recording their debut album in an abandoned wool shed. They’ve posted a portion of a track titled Discriminate that may make it to the album. It’s quite beautiful. Check our link. SOTI expect to release the not yet titled LP sometime in 2001, and to post MP3s of tracks as they become available.
The band are Shani (guitar), Adam (guitar, e-bow, vocals, organ), Wayne (bass, drums, percussion), Kirsten (vocals, synthesizer, trumpet, piano), Matt (drums, synthesizer), Phil (violin—he owns the wool shed), and David (projections). You can get a hint of their direction by the bands they like, which include Godspeed You Black Emperor!, Swans, Sigur Rós, Mogwai, and Low. | Seascapes Of The Interior | | Discriminate (MP3) | | top of page |
