Some new stuff on Rockbites

We missed bringing you news for a couple of days, for which we apologize: but we were not just fucking off or enjoying the unfolding US political debacle. Here’s the new stuff/little improvements on Rockbites

  • Our news archive by date now works again, for the first time since August. And it’s better. Previously when you picked a month you had to wait for the entire month’s worth of stories to load into your browser, which could take several minutes. Now you get an index of headlines that looks like our recent news index, but specific to your selected month. Click a headline and get the story. Click here to see our news archive.

  • Our front page is cleaner. Specifically, we’re now a bit clearer about how we raise money for human rights charities. And when you use a front page link to one of our retail affiliates you get a confirmation that any purchases you choose to make will benefit human rights efforts.

  • We’ve added sixteen indie record stores to our list, some of them courtesy of the Low Web site. We also cleaned up the layout a bit—we hope it’s easier to use. | news archive by date | | indie stores list | | Rockbites front page | | top of page |
