Bardo Pond set title, release date for new LP

Philadelphia noise experimentalists Bardo Pond release their next album on 27 February 2001, which Rockbites has just heard will be called Dilate. Clocking in at over an hour in length, those who’ve heard the work in progress describe it as “more cohesive” than previous efforts. Some of the adjectives being tossed around include 'sensitive', 'natural', 'inexplicably gorgeous', and 'impossibly dense'. We can’t wait for a taste.
The band have announced they’ll release a limited edition CD EP containing outtakes from the Dilate recording sessions, with availability to be determined but likely to be sold on their upcoming tour—which will coincide with the album release. | Bardo Pond | | bio | | discography | | top of page |
