Glasgow based Belle & Sebastian spinoff The Gentle Waves (a solo project of singer/ songwriter/ cellist Isobel Campbell) released in October their first new material in a year and a half, the four track EP Falling From Grace. The EP is available for US fans direct from Amazon UK and includes three non-LP tracks: Going Home, October’s Sky, and Hold Back A Thousand Hours. The EP’s title track appears on the band’s new album Swansong For You, released last month worldwide.
Tonight The Gentle Waves play the first of two shows at London’s The Spitz (at Spitalfields Market), getting ready for a UK tour and with hopes of a debut US tour in the new year. | The Gentle Waves | | Falling From Grace EP | | bio | | discography | | CD | | top of page |
