Dandy Warhols close out US tour, head back to Europe
4 August 2000

Portland, Oregon psychedelic quartet The Dandy Warhols (sometimes quintet—they’re touring with multi-instrumentalist Troy Stewart) played San Francisco’s Great American Music Hall last night in the final week of their North American tour supporting their third album, Thirteen Tales From Urban Bohemia. Dave Sardy (Barkmarket, Slayer, Starlight Mints, Marilyn Manson) mixed and co-produced it.
The band played a mix of songs from all three of their LPs, along with a few surprises. Here’s their set list as best we could gather:

Be In
Nietzche
Bohemian Like You
Shakin’
Hardon For Jesus
I Love You
Godless
Good Morning (strange version)
Country Leaver
Minnesoter
(Courtney Taylor solo)
Ride
Horse Pills
(unknown)
Holiday
The Dandy Warhol’s TV Theme Song
Pete International Airport
Boys Better
(Zia McCabe a capella solo)
It’s A Fast Driving Rave-Up With The Dandy Warhols 16 Minutes

Remaining dates include Portland (6th), Seattle (7th), Vancouver (8th), and a final blowout on the 10th back in Portland at Roseland with Genius Position, Television Eye, My Regrets, and All The Way Down.
The Dandys then hop back to Europe for a series of festivals and club dates. Check their Web site for details. | The Dandy Warhols | | DW Tour page | | bio | | discography | | sample | | CD | | top of page |
