Ed Sullivan marathon on cable channel VH1 Classic 25 August 2000
Starting Saturday morning 6:00 am in most served markets, cable channel VH1 Classic will air a 48 hour Ed Sullivan music marathon presenting original performance clips by a who’s who of ’50s and ’60s rock and soul. Featured will be The Band, The Beatles, James Brown, The Doors, Aretha Franklin, Jefferson Airplane, Janis Joplin, The Mamas And The Papas, Elvis Presley, The Rolling Stones, The Temptations, Stevie Wonder, and many others.
