Gomez Webcasts before 'lengthy break'

As Southport, England’s country soul cosmonauts Gomez ready the release of their new album Abandoned Shopping Trolley Hotline (due 25 September in the UK, 10 October in the US), they’re popping up on the Web in Australia and England for chats and Webcasts. The publicity blitz precedes “a lengthy break from all related duties,” according to their Web site. Their Reading & Leeds shows on the 26th and 27th of this month will be their final UK appearances for 2000.
Gomez performed 6 August at Sydney’s Enmore Theatre. They Webcast the show live and you can view it now from virtueoz.com’s archive. Before retreating to seclusion they’re holding one final Web chat along with an acoustic performance Webcast on 29 August, starting 6 pm BST (1 pm EDT).
