DJ Rap switches labels, holds live Web chat next Tuesday

Singapore born Charissa Saverio, aka DJ Rap, chats live on the Web Tuesday 29 August starting 5 pm EDT (10 pm BST). Saverio, as a performer and producer, has contributed to the jungle and drum 'n' bass scenes for eight years. She released her current album Brave New World late last month in the US on new Detriot label Intuit-Solar.
Brave New World features DJ Rap along with drum 'n' bass collaborator Kenny Ken and includes 13 tracks based on music from Ray Keith, DJ Hype, DJ SS, Mickey Finn, A-Sides, G Squad, Randall, and the Hybridz.
DJ Rap performs at The Smoke Out festival on 7 October 2000 in San Bernardino, California along with Cypress Hill, Dead Prez, Dilated Peoples, Gang Starr, Long Beach Dub Allstars, System Of A Down, and about two dozen other artists. Tickets will be available from Ticketmaster.
