TRS-80 record release show, imminent tour
15 August 2000

Chicago electronic trio TRS-80 (Jay Rajeck on drums, Deb Schimmel and Kent Rayhill on keyboards and samples) released a couple of self-produced discs before signing with Martin Atkins’ (PiL, Ministry) Invisible Records label last year. Local buzz and a strong demo back in 1998 had snagged them an opening slot with Death In Vegas as their first ever live performance.
Their second—and first widely available—album The Manhattan Love Machine hit stores last month. On 24 August they’ll play a record release show at Chicago’s Double Door, with free tickets promised to regular visitors of their Web site. They plan to tour later this year. Rockbites will post details ASAP.
You can get a taste of TRS-80 now with a generous helping of samples and full-length songs in streaming RealAudio format from their Web site. | TRS-80 | | samples & songs | | discography | | sample | | CD | | top of page |
