London power glam trio Placebo announced last week on their official Web site that they’ll release the followup to 1998’s Without You I’m Nothing on 9 October in the UK, to be titled Black Market Music. The twelve track studio album will be available on CD, cassette, vinyl, and Mini Disc, along with a 5,000 copy, limited edition CD with special packaging.
Black Market Music’s tracks are Taste In Men, Days Before You Came, Special K, Spite & Malice, Passive Aggressive, Black Eyed, Blue American, Slave To The Wage, Commercial For Levi, Haemoglobin, Narcoleptic, and Peeping Tom.
Placebo will tour the UK this fall, with the sole confirmed date so far a show at London’s Brixton Academy on 31 October. Tickets are on sale now from the usual locations. | Placebo | | bio | | discography | | sample from Without You I'm Nothing | | top of page |
