Irish summer fest to host fifty acts 6 April 2000 The first annual Witnness Festival takes place 5-6 August at the Fairyhouse racecourse north of Dublin. Bands confirmed for the five stage/fifty act event include Asian Dub Foundation, Beck, Death In Vegas, David Gray, Groove Armada, Happy Mondays, Nightmares On Wax, Ocean Colour Scene, Roni Size & Reprazent, Super Furry Animals, and Travis. The event gets its name and its sponsorship from the Guinness Ireland Group.
