Ladyfest benefit shows in New York, Olympia

Five acts play Saturday 8 April at Dumba Warehouse in New York city as a benefit for this fall’s Ladyfest in Olympia, Washington. Here’s the lineup

 8:00 Spit East (spoken word)
 8:45 Paula Carino (singer/songwriter)
 9:30 Bionic Finger (indie/pop/rock all-girl band)
10:15 Triple Creme (indie/rock/punk all-girl band)
11:00 Moxie (indie/pop/rock all-girl band)

    On 29 April Sleater-Kinney will headline a Ladyfest benefit in Olympia at The Metropolis—which will also be the last show before the venue becomes a sports bar. Also playing are Gene Defcon and Glass Candy And The Shattered Theatre.
    The first annual Ladyfest celebration of women’s music, art, and politics takes place 1-6 August in Olympia Washington. Organizers have just announced several new artists. The full roster is Aislers Set, Bangs, Amy Blaschke, The Bobbyteens, Bratmobile, The Butchies, Cat Power (new), Sarah Dougher, Emily's Sassy Lime, Misty Fine, Frenchie And The German Girls, Glass Candy And The Shattered Theatre (new), The Gossip, The Haggard, Kanako, Lois, Carolyn Mark, The Need, Rebecca Pearcy , The Rondelles, Shotgun Won, Sleater-Kinney, Slumber Party , Jean Smith, Tennessee Twin, Mary Timony (new), Two Ton Boa, Allison Williams, and Wynne (new). | Ladyfest | | top of page |
