Meltdown Festival to feature Blur, Smog, Radiohead
4 April 2000
This year’s London Meltdown Festival takes place 17 June - 2 July at the Royal Festival Hall. The festival is organized by a different director each year. Nick Cave curated the 1999 Meltdown, while this year Ohio born Scott Walker (a.k.a. Noel Scott Engel, enigmatic British Invasion icon) perfoms the duties.
Among the bands scheduled to perform are Blur, Pulp’s Jarvis Cocker with friends, Jim O’Rourke, Orbital, Smog, and Radiohead. Tickets are available now. | NME story | | Meltdown | | Scott Walker bio | | top of page |
