Doves play Beatles on London rooftop 28 April 2000 Invoking images of The Beatles playing atop their then new Saville Row offices at lunchtime on Thursday 30 January 1969, Manchester’s techno-turned-post rock trio Doves play a free show in London tomorrow at noon on the roof of the HMV record store. VirtueTV in association with HMV records will Webcast the traffic stopping performance (albeit weekend traffic) live starting 12:00 pm BST (7:00 am EDT) on Saturday.     The VirtueTV site also offers an archived concert video, taped late March this year, as well as a band interview.     The Doves’ debut album Lost Souls came out earlier this month in the UK, but no US distribution plans have been announced.
