The Magnetic Fields name a color 27 April 2000 Merrits color is PANTONE 7498, a.k.a. Carolyn Eve Greennamed after a friend living in the Rocky Mountains. Merrit said ...if vegetables were Carolyn Eve Green, children would be happier to eat them. He references PANTONE colors on his 1999 set 69 Love Songs, with the line You make me blue, PANTONE 292.
