Mogwai ready new official Web site, head to Japan
25 April 2000

Bardo Pond fans Mogwai, who organized the recent All Tomorrow’s Parties festival, will launch their new official Web site on 22 May (if all goes according to plan) at www.abandcalledmogwai.com. The band promise lots of video footage, a complete gig list, lyrics to all their songs, occasional downloadable music, and more.
The Scottish experimental quintet recently finished remixes for two albums, both due this summer: Pluramon’s Bit Sand Riders album, to be released on Mille Plateaux, and Datach’i’s new vinyl-only album, to be released on the Caipirinha Music Company imprint.
Mogwai have just confirmed that they’ll be playing the Mount Fuji Rock Festival in Japan at the end of July, one of their very few festival appearances for 2000. Contrary to a recent rumor, they will not play Glastonbury. | Mogwai (available May 2000) | | discography | | sample | | top of page |
