The Frumpies gear up for tour of Italy 20 April 2000 Olympia, Washington punkers The Frumpies (Tobi Vail, Kathi Wilcox, and Billy Karren—also in Bikini Kill—plus Molly Neuman from Bratmobile) start a tour of Italy next Wednesday at Olympia ’77 in Messina, Sicily.     They’ve just finished recording a four track single titled Frumpies Forever, to be released soon. Tracks include the title plus Don’t Wanna Go Home, Turn Off The Faucet, and Tell Me. They’ve also recorded a six and a half minute instrumental titled Battle Of The Super Bored, due to appear on another single later this year.     Here are The Frumpies’ Italian tour dates April 26 - Messina, Sicily (Olympia ’77) 27 - Catania, Sicily (Taxi Driver) 28 - Palermo, Sicily (B-Plane) 29 - Taranto (Carosino Auditorium) 30 - Teramo (Club 88) May   1 - Roma (Forte Prenestino)   2 - Casalone (Legnano)   3 - Trento (Angi Club)   4 - Firenze (Flog)   5 - Perche’ (No Verbania)   6 - Milano (to be confirmed)   7 - Padova/Venezia (to be confirmed)   8 - Roma (Ex Magazzini pub) | The Frumpies News | | The Frumpies | | discography | | sample from Frumpie One Piece | | top of page |
