Pinebender release Steve Albini-produced debut 19 April 2000 Chicago post-emo trio Pinebender this week released their debut album in the US, Things Are About To Get Weird. Steve Albini (Pixies, Slint, Big Black, Rapeman) produced the set at Chicago’s Electrical Audio studios. Pinebender include guitarist Matt Clark (who also plays in Joan Of Arc), bassist Jay Ryan (from Dianogah), and Evelyn Watson.
